Dr. Michael J. Bentze is board certified in Family Medicine by the prestigious American Board of Family Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. By providing care for patients of all ages, Dr. Bentze finds joy in the challenges inherent to family medicine. His professional interests include sports medicine, diabetes, men’s health and cardiovascular health.
Dr. Bentze's allopathic training was completed at the Harrisburg Hospital Family Practice Residency Program in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. There, he was chosen by the faculty and other residents to serve as Chief-Resident of the Family Practice Department. Dr. Bentze completed a primary care emphasis osteopathic internship, which was served at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. A graduate of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, Dr. Bentze has always been interested in primary care. He holds a B.S. in environmental studies/biology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
